Cork County Council has awarded over one million euro to 80 community groups to fund various projects.
The works range from extensions to community centres, to providing walkways.
The funds were generated from 200 euro N-P-P-R tax on second homes. which, along with the household charge is becoming the new means by which local authorities are funded.
We asked Councillors to outline some of the winning projects in their areas.
