The proceeds from this years “Cork’s 96FM Giving for Living Radiothon”
are already hard at work.
This afternoon the Lord Mayor held a civic reception to meet with the
heads of the charities which are receiving the proceeds.
Back in the month of May people across Cork raised more than
517-thousand euro during a three day Radiothon on Cork’s 96FM
All money goes towards cancer services at the Mercy Hospital,
Marymount Hospice and CUH.
This was the sixth annual Radiothon on 96FM.
Over the years the people of Cork have raised around 2-point-8 million
euro for worthy causes.
