Business leaders overnight outdoors to help homeless charity

18 Cork people will sleep rough tonight to raise vital funds for a charity providing services for homeless people.

“Focus Ireland” says the number of people seeking its services has doubled recently.

18 people, from the world of business, will sleep outdoors tonight at the old Cork Gaol in Sundays Well
– a facility which now operates as a museum – they include Cork Chamber of Commerce CEO Conor Healy;
Voxpro CEO Dan Kiely; and Siobhán Finn of Cork Innovates

Mary Hopkins from Hopkins Communications will also be there and says each participant is aiming to raise 5-thousand euro for the homeless charity
