Sinn Fein in Cork City say they have achieved a “symbolic victory”

The party’s City Councillors are against what they call the conference and
junket circuit where the local authority pays for elected Councillors to
attend conferences across the Country, many of which are in Donegal.

At every City Council meeting Sinn Fein calls for a vote on conference
attendance, hoping to knock it down, but it’s always approved by the other

But this week Sinn Fein won the vote
