It appears that University College Cork might have to reinstate the motto of “Where Finbarr taught let Munster learn” the institution has removed the motto from underneath some of it’s crest’s as part of a branding re-design.
In a statement on Twitter yesterday UCC said in “informal settings” the motto was been dropped to improve legibility but the college said it remains on formal documents such as parchments and invitations.
