[Audio] Retired Cork Army officer welcomes USA arrest of alleged soldier murderer

A well known retired Army Officer in Cork has welcomed the arrest of a man
suspected of being involved in the deaths of two Irish soldiers in Lebanon
34 years ago.

Suspect Mahmoud Bazzi, is now aged 71 and works as an ice cream seller in
the USA.
But it’s alleged that Bazzi was involved in the killing of two Irish
Peacekeeping Soliders in the early 80’s

The Lebanese man was arrested at his home in Dearborn, Michigan by US
authorities this week.
