An interim report has been published into the sinking of a tall-ship
off the Cork coast almost one year ago.
The Astrid sank after being grounded on July 24th 2013 near the
Sovereign Islands to the west of Kinsale.
Today’s report from the “The Marine Casualty Investigation Board” runs
to only 3 pages of content, and a longer document will follow in the
