[Audio] Old Head Golf links reports boost in Business following Fota Irish Open

Management of one the world’s leading golf courses have reported a “risk rise in bookings and enquiries from overseas tourists since the hosting of the Irish Open tournament in Cork last month.

The Old Head Golf Links in Kinsale which employs 200 people in peak season have stated that Cork as a region has been the beneficiary of the Irish Open’s worldwide media exposure .

Last month record crowds flocked to Cork to watch the stars of the golfing world compete for the Irish Open title on the fairways of Fota Island Resort
