Management of one the world’s leading golf courses have reported a “risk rise in bookings and enquiries from overseas tourists since the hosting of the Irish Open tournament in Cork last month.
The Old Head Golf Links in Kinsale which employs 200 people in peak season have stated that Cork as a region has been the beneficiary of the Irish Open’s worldwide media exposure .
