The New Kingsley Hotel has won an award.
Flooded in 2009 it re-opened 10 days ago employing more than 100 people.
It’s part of the Fota Collection which also includes the Fota Island Resort, and Jacques Restaurant.
A few days ago we visited the Kinglsey Hotel and had a tour (Audio here). Now the collection has won the Cork Business Association first quarter award, and so goes forward for entry to the Cork Business Association overall ‘Business of the Year Awards, in January.
James O’Sullivan from the Cork Business Association says The Fota Collection attracted over 100,000 people to Cork city and county this June for the 2014 Irish Open, and the Chinese Kang Family also re-opened The Kingsley which is another great boost for Cork.
