The future of a Gaelscoil on the Northside of Cork City has been secured.
The board of management of Gaelscoil Pheig Sayers – which will have 170
pupils from September – have signed a seven year contract to keep it at the
Farranferris Campus.
In its 26 year history the school has never had a permanent home even
moving to Farranferris as “temporary measure” one year ago
Sinn Fein Cllr Thomas Gould is a member of the board of management.
He has welcomed the use of the Farranferris building for another seven
years, and hopes it will give time to plan for a new purpose built school
