Cork is on “Red Alert” this evening as RedFM has emerged as the number one radio station in Cork for all adults.
The latest radio listenership JNLR/IPSOS/MRBI figures for January to June this year show the radio station has clinched the top spot Leeside for all adults.
In just 15 months RedFM has leapfrogged an older Cork radio station and moved from 5th place to No 1 in the radio listening stakes in Cork.
85,000 people are tuning into The Neil Prendeville Show on an average week day cementing his status as The Voice Of Cork, and for the first time in Cork’s history RedFM is the most listened to radio station Leeside.
RedFM has bucked the national and local trend to grow 18%, adding 34,000 new listeners, when compared to the last six months of 2014.
Progamme Director KC says it’s the greatest day in RedFM’s history
