In 2016, Enable Ireland launched an ambitious fundraising campaign to raise Û7.5million to build a state of the art ChildrenÕs Services Centre on a new site in Curraheen. Once operational, the new centre will house a hydrotherapy pool, therapy rooms and sensory rooms to accommodate the needs of current and future children with disabilities in Cork city and county. Enable Ireland has four service locations in Cork Ð childrenÕs service at the Lavanagh Centre, an adult service centre in Little Island, a respite house in Ladysbridge and a residential house in Blackrock, to support independent living for adults with disabilities. There are also two Enable Ireland charity shops in Cork, on Oliver Plunkett Street and North Main Street. Profits from the shops support Enable Ireland disability services.
