Murphy to remain as CIT President for another 5 years

The Chairman of the Governing Body of Cork Institute of Technology, Mr Bob Savage, has announced the reappointment of CIT President, Dr Brendan Murphy. Following an open competition Dr Murphy has been appointed for a five-year term, commencing September, 2014.

Mr Savage welcomed the appointment of Dr Murphy and wished him every success:

“The Governing body of CIT very much look forward to continuing to work closely with Dr Murphy and we acknowledge his major contribution to the on-going development of CIT and the future development of the proposed Munster Technological University.”
