The chief executive of Glen Dimplex – Ireland’s largest private firm –
Sean O’Driscoll
has this week said that marginal rural areas need to look for
indigenous solutions rather than constantly looking to Central
Government for funding and investment.

Speaking at the Global Cork Economic Forum Sean O’Driscoll –
originally from Castledonovan in West Cork –
said that events like the recent “Taste of West Cork festival” are an
example of how West Cork can fulfill it’s potential
