A solo exhibition of paintings by Monkstown based artist Hazel McCarthy has opened at Cronin’s Pub, Crosshaven. The exhibition will be on display until Monday 6 June.

“Hazel’s style encompasses an experimental mixed media approach, using both oil and acrylic paint, wax, sand, paper and glazes and this body of work is inspired by her coastal lifestyle and her family’s love of sailing and beach life. Hazel’s vibrant paintings are examples of her love of texture and colour. This exhibition is loosely themed around maritime life and whimsical beach scenes.”
