Carrigaline business expands “creating one of the region’s largest destinations for flooring, beds, and furniture”
Big Box Flooring has opened at the 3 Estuary Business Park (off the Crosshaven Road), Kilnagleary, Carrigaline, Co Cork. The building is so new it does not yet have an eircode!, so visitors are asked to head to P43 X095, which is the primary care centre, and then to follow signage.
Founded in 2002 the well known business had been trading as Carrigaline Furniture & Carpet Centre at a smaller premises at The Old Pottery Complex, off Main Street, in Carrigaline village.
Now, the business has moved to a newer out-of-town 30,000 sq ft showroom, with free parking, where it’s trading as Big Box Flooring.
The business is owned and directed by Thomas, Emma, and Aidan Sexton.
Documents filed at the Companies Registration Office for the company Carrigaline Furniture & Carpet Centre Ltd indicate that Permanent TSB recently provided funding.
According to their website BigBoxFlooring.ie the USP is being a family business.

The website says delivery and assembly is free within 20km.
Local Fine Gael Cllr Jack White has wished the Sexton family well in their expanded business venture.
