Two celebrities from the Music World have received Cork Passports.

Jedward – made up of 21 year old twins John and Edward Grimes – were
presented with their documents in Cork City Hall this afternoon by the Lord Mayor Labour Cllr Catherine
Clancy and their upbeat personalities were a big hit.

The novelty Rebel Passport is part of Rebel Week which will take place in
October. The Passport will give discounts in shops, pubs, hotels, and leisure
outlets across the City and County, and organisers hope it will boost tourism.

Jedward will play two concerts in Munster next week:

Friday 26th July – Neptune Stadium, Cork and Saturday 27th July – UL Basketball Arena, Limerick

While in Cork today Jedward spoke with TheCork.ie Reporter David O’Sullivan
