There are two Hotels in Cork Airport, and a little known fact is that both are now owned by the same firm, indeed they now share the same general manager. Indeed, the Metropole Hotel in Cork City Centre is also owned by the same firm, but more about that later. Let’s first look at the Airport.

Refurbishment

This week The Cork Airport Hotel (the cheaper one) has re-launched following an extensive refurbishment.

The venue’s re-designed 80-seat restaurant, Olivo serves authentic Italian dishes with flair, and has the the only ‘Make Your Own Pizza station’ near to the City. It is currently running Saturdays between 4pm and 6pm, and there is an added bonus that kids also eat for free at weekends.
