The Reverend Canon Dr Daniel Nuzum, who is whole-time chaplain at Cork University Hospital, Marymount Hospice and the Bon Secours Hospital in the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, successfully defended his doctoral thesis at University College Cork earlier this year.
At the summer conferrings last month, at the University, he was conferred with his doctorate.
Dr Nuzum’s research was in the field of pregnancy loss and stillbirth; the title of his thesis is: ‘The spiritual and professional impact of stillbirth.’
