As well as this the sold-out Marymount ball is taking place on Friday 1st December in the Radisson, Little Island the East Cork Ladie’s Lunch is taking place in Fota Resort that same day.

“We are so grateful to the people of Cork for all of their continued support. Christmas is an important time for fundraising for Marymount,” said Head of Fundraising and Communications Paula McGovern. “It can be a very difficult time for families and we are very sensitive of that also. Our Light up a Life ceremony is a lovely way to remember our loved ones and we ask people to come together in Marymount on the day.”

“All of our events this weekend are necessary as each year we need to raise €3 million – and we are hugely indebted to the people of Cork for helping us to achieve this aim.”
