The Metropole Hotel is hiring across a range of part-time roles to cover the busy Cork Jazz Festival, which runs throughout the October bank holiday weekend.
The hotel, home to the original Cork Jazz Club, is looking for bartenders, waiters/waitresses, glass collectors, commis chefs and cleaners. No experience is required as full training will be provided.
The positions will support the hotel’s team members during the Cork Jazz Festival but there may be an opportunity to retain some successful candidates afterward.
A Recruitment Open Day will be held at the Metropole Hotel between 3.00pm and 6.00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 29th and 30th. No booking is required and anyone interested in a role is invited to attend the event.
The Jazz Festival Club at the Metropole Hotel is one of the must-visit destinations during the Cork Jazz Festival, with a selection of live acts throughout the hotel, including the recently renovated lobby.
Kathleen Linehan, Strategic Director of Human Resources at Trigon Hotels, said: “The Jazz weekend is one of the busiest times of the year for the Metropole Hotel and there is always a great buzz across the four days. We are looking forward to welcoming new recruits to support our team members as we make every effort to ensure all our guests get the most out of their visit, whether they’re staying for the weekend or popping in to enjoy the different live music on offer.”
