Former Ireland and Munster Rugby Star Niall Scannell Joins NFP’s Wealth and Financial Planning Team in Cork
NFP Ireland, an Aon company, has appointed former Ireland and Munster rugby player Niall Scannell to its Wealth and Financial Planning team in Cork.
Niall’s appointment comes as NFP continues to expand its operations across Ireland, growing its teams and presence in key locations around the country. With significant offices and teams already established in Dublin, Limerick and Galway, his appointment further strengthens NFP’s Wealth and Financial Planning presence in Cork and forms part of the company’s wider plans for growth in Ireland.
Niall joins NFP following a distinguished 13-year career in professional rugby with Munster. A long-serving member of the province’s senior squad, he competed at the highest level of the professional game and represented Ireland on the international stage.
Alongside his professional rugby career, Niall continued to develop his knowledge and qualifications in finance and business. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), holds a Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA and a BCL in Law from University College Cork.
In his new role as Private Client Consultant within NFP’s Wealth and Financial Planning team, Niall will work with individuals, families and business owners on retirement and pension planning, investment and wealth management, and longer-term financial planning. He will work closely with clients to understand their financial position and priorities, develop tailored financial plans and provide ongoing advice as their circumstances and goals change.
