When: Saturday, June 25th 12-5pm

The summer is kicking off on Saturday June 25th from 12-5pm when Wilton Shopping Centre celebrates the summer with a huge outdoor summer party. The annual Outdoor Party will be held in the Wilton Shopping Centre car park and it aims to be as huge a success as last year. The Summer Outdoor Party is free on the day to shoppers and any donations will be going to the Cork City Hospitals Children’s Club, which is a very deserving charity and Wilton Shopping Centre are proud to have been associated with this charity for a number of years.

The Centre car park will be taken over for the day with many different events for all the family. Children can enjoy a variety of inflatables such as a large obstacle course, a castle with a slide and a pirate ship which can hold up to 15 children at a time. And for the big kids among us, there will be a rodeo bull for both adults and children to test their balance skills and try and not fall off that rocking bull!

The party will be rocking to some great tunes from the DJ and there will be lots of party games for the children to join in. The extravaganza will also offer balloon modelling, face painting, magical tricks, games and music by the renowned entertainment company, Action Entertainments. There will also be outdoor stalls on site from many of the Centre’s retailers for shoppers to pick up a few bargains.

Susanne Irwin, Manager of Wilton Shopping Centre says “We are at the heart of the community in Wilton and what better way to celebrate community than by having a party! We want thank all our shoppers for their support and loyalty with our free Summer Outdoor Party on Saturday 25th June. We are really looking forward all the laughter, fun and excitement of our Family Fun day and everyone is welcome to come along.”
