PETER O’Mahony will miss Sunday’s return game with Scarlets after sustaining a hairline crack to his jaw in the round three game in Parc Y Scarlets last Saturday.
O’Mahony didn’t return for the second half, replaced by Denis Leamy, and this afternoon an X-ray showed the damage he’s sustained that will keep him sidelined for two weeks or so.
Meanwhile Keith Earls is expected to return to full training this week and could be included in the Munster squad for the weekend while Peter Borlase (back), Dave O’Callaghan (knee) and Sean Scanlon (neck) all returned from injury in the British & Irish Cup win over Ayr in Tralee RFC. Ivan Dineen (knee) also returns to training this week.
