Christmas FM to Commence Broadcasting
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland has granted a 30-day temporary sound broadcasting licence to Christmas FM, to run from 28th November to 26th December 2015.
The licence allows the all-Christmas radio station to broadcast from 7am to 2am seven days a week during that time. The station will be available across the country, broadcasting in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork cities, and part of counties Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Limerick, Cork, Longford, Cavan, Meath, Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny and Tipperary.
The station’s charity partner this year is Make-A-Wish Ireland and the broadcaster aims to raise funds for the organisation through listener donations.Follow TheCork.ie (The Online Newspaper for Cork, Ireland) on social media
