ROWING: Irish Rowing Coach Dominic Casey made history last week

This month’s Cork Person of the Month winner, Irish Rowing Coach Dominic Casey, made history last week when his teams put Skibbereen and Ireland in the World rowing record books.

Rowing Ireland CEO Hamish Adams, based at Farran Woods HQ Co Cork said “ We aspire to be the best we can be and this success endorses all the hard work and sacrifices that so many in our sport are making. “ Congrats to Dominic Casey’s teams of Mark O’Donovan and Shane O’Driscoll, Paul O’Donovan, Sanita Puspure and also to Denise Walsh and all that qualified for the 2017 World Championships in Florida.
