Wisetek, a Cork firm with expertise in IT asset disposition (ITAD), data destruction, technology reuse, and manufacturing services, has secured the award for Best Website among companies with over 20 employees at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards, which took place on Friday 21st October at the Carrigaline Court Hotel in Cork.
The awards, which are organised by Cork Chamber, recognise the digital innovations of Cork-based businesses over the past twelve months. Wisetek was also recognised as a finalist in the category of Best Use of LinkedIn for business at the awards.
Wisetek was recognised with the award for Best Website based on the design and functionality of wisetek.net, including how it showcases Wisetek’s business to visitors and communicates its core values. Key milestones that Wisetek has achieved in SEO rankings as well as the number of visitors to the site were also important factors in the award win.
Sean Sheehan, CEO of Wisetek said: “Wisetek is extremely proud to have been recognised with the award for Best Website at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards. Digital marketing is an area of key importance for the company, and it is essential that we have an online presence that properly reflects our business and our values. This award stands as a testament to our efforts to create unique and engaging content for Wisetek’s digital channels.”
Milica Vojnic, Senior Digital Marketing Executive with Wisetek said: “It is extremely gratifying for Wisetek to have achieved this award, which recognises the expertise and effort that has gone into crafting the design and functionality of our website, and our work to increase engagement and visitor numbers through high quality and engaging content. We have also worked hard to ensure the site properly showcases Wisetek’s offering, as well as our work across the areas of environmental, social and governance.”
All entries to the Cork Digital Marketing Awards are judged by members of the public, through an independent and confidential judging and allocation system. The awards ceremony was hosted by Sinead Kennedy.
