Some 2G Vodafone Ireland customers in the Cork area experienced intermittent difficulty making and receiving calls and sending text messages this morning due to a technical failure. The 3G service was not affected. Service was quickly restored to all areas. Vodafone says it apologises for any inconvenience caused to those customers affected.
